I’ve known for some time that in business, it is best to not bad mouth one’s competition. If you are good at what you do or your product is the best then you should have no public concern for your competition. Of course you keep an eye on them and what they are doing, but bad mouthing them says more about yourself than them.

So, when I came across this article about competition bashing while doing research on the Web, I thought it interesting that it goes even further with the idea that maybe complimenting the competition earns trust.

To bad mouth or compliment your competition? That is the question.
